  • LEARNING SOMETHING NEW TAKES TIME. ASKING YOUR DOG TO KNOW HOW TO CHANGE THEIR BEHAVIOR OR LEARN SOMETHING NEW CANNOT BE DONE IN A DAY OR A WEEK. THE TIME YOU PUT IN TO YOUR DOGS TRAINING WILL HELP ENSURE A LIFETIME OF SUCCESS. EVERYONE HAS HEARD “SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE”. COMMITTING TO YOUR DOG IS THE PRIORITY HERE.

TRAINING.

  • ASKING YOUR DOG TO DO SOMETHING OVER AND OVER AGAIN UNTIL THEY FINALLY DO IT IS NOT TRAINING. TRAINING IS A SKILL THEY WILL LEARN FROM YOU BY THE WAY YOU TEACH THEM. THIS SKILL COULD BE TO COME WHEN CALLED OR TO STAY IN A PLACE WHERE YOU WANT THEM. THE GOAL IS TO FIND THE BEST METHOD TO TEACH YOUR DOG AND SET THEM UP FOR SUCCESS, NOT FAILURE.

TRANSITIONING.

  • Each part of your life is a transition. Just like your dog. They start at puppyhood, to adult dog, to senior dog. They develop and learn new things in each of these stages of life. When you adopt a shelter dog and bring them to your home, this is a transition period for them. It's new and can be scary. Your job is to help ease them into this transition comfortably. Giving them enough time to get used to a new environment and what is expected of them, Providing proper training tools they need to succeed, you will be amazed as your dog is transitioning to a more confident and stunning being!
